How much do you know about Japan?

Did you know that we don’t tip in restaurants in Japan?
This is a picture when I and my Korean friend went to Asakusa in Tokyo.
She is buying dumpling by herself with Yen!

Did you know that in Japan, Christmas is generally a holiday for couples?
This is a picture of me and my friends from high school. We took this picture on Christmas Day in Japan because all three of us are single. We took it with crazy face for sarcasm;)

Often times, when people think about Japanese culture, sushi, or Samurai, or anime might come to mind, but in reality, there is so much more to Japanese culture than that!

When I came to America, I was so surprised at the differences I found between Japanese and American culture! But there were many similarities too.

Here, I wanted to share some of the experiences I have had with American culture from the perspective of a Japanese person.

Hope you enjoy my blog!
