Spring is coming!

Hi! It's March 2nd today! Spring is coming soon.

So I'm going to write about spring in Japan. 

In Japan, the most important thing in spring is cherry blossom!

It's called SAKURA which is symbol of Japan. 

In April, there are so many places where you can go and see those cherry blossoms. 

This is one of the pictures that I took two years ago in my neighborhood. There are so many cherry blossom trees for a few hundreds meters along with a river.

Also, there are so many parks which have a lot of cherry blossoms. Many people go on a picnic.

The next important thing in spring is the entrance ceremony. 

In most of countries, people enter school in summer like in August or September. 

However, in Japan, people enter school in April. I know it's super rare. 

This tradition started from 1880s because of the fiscal year of government.

There are more traditions of entrance and graduation ceremony in Japan!
